About Eva Cassis

In 2012, Eva Cassis launched with a simple desire to create ethical, considered and timeless garments and accessories. Almost a decade later and we continue to provide our customers with kinder, more sustainable fashion options with enduring appeal.

Slow and humble philosophyOur slow and humble philosophy

We have grown steadily and organically over the years, never forgetting our humble beginnings and always focusing on our place in the slow fashion market.

Every garment tells a story of process and creation. And we want that to be transparent as we create clothes that make all women feel beautiful, valued and represented.

We make gorgeous sustainable garments that you can wear proudly and cherish for many years to come. In everything we do, we are slow and we are humble, staying true to our values and our style ethos.

Handcrafted timeless classicsHandcrafted timeless classics

Our natural fibre garments feature elegant free flowing silhouettes that flatter the female figure at any size.

We draw inspiration from feminine silhouettes, artisanal hand sewn details and the colours of nature. Our eco jewellery is designed as the perfect complement to our unstructured free following garments.

Every seasonal release is handmade in limited quantities. Each garment and accessory we produce is expertly handmade for you to fall in love with and cherish for a lifetime.

Sustainability in everything we doSustainability in everything we do

We take sustainability seriously at Eva Cassis. We are committed to minimising our environmental footprint and fighting the good fight for a fashion world that is kinder to the Earth, and its people.

To support our sustainability efforts, we:

  • Use only natural fibres
  • Prioritise deadstock fabrics
  • Choose sustainable fabrics with low impact dyes
  • Incorporate offcuts into new designs
  • Donate excess fabrics to make boomerang bags for charity, to fellow textile artists or to be used as punching bag stuffing
  • Pay and treat all collaborators fairly in accordance with global ethical standards.

We are very proud to be a plastic free business. We strongly follow a reduce and reuse policy. Garments are never packaged in plastic and are safely stored and shipped with minimal packaging. Delicate items are shipped with recycled stuffing to ensure they arrive safely.

The woman behind Eva CassisThe woman behind Eva Cassis

Eva Cassis always knew she wanted to be a fashion designer. When she was a little girl she taught herself to draw and sew dolls clothes on her toy sewing machine. It was only natural that she would go on to study fashion design.

And while Eva worked in luxury fashion - for labels such as Prada and Collette Dinnigan - she never used her qualifications. But those experiences gave her the grounding in exquisite craftsmanship and incredible construction details that have become the cornerstone of her own label.

It was in 2011, after experiencing the frustration of trying to find clothes to flatter her changing body shape, that Eva decided to start her own label. After a year of planning, she launched with a vision to create beautifully flattering designs, expertly handmade at accessible prices.

Eva started selling at markets with no business knowledge or experience and very little financial investment. She has grown the business from the ground up, all while raising her two young sons.

The success of the label is testament to Eva’s hard work and unwavering dedication to her slow and humble philosophy.
